When Registering for Programs

Steps to register a child for a program:

  1. Create a family membership under a parental name.
  2. Under the family membership account you created add your child(ren) name(s) to the account.
  3. Now when you click on the Register button for a program you can register the child for the program. 

NOTE: If you do not follow these steps You will be the one registered for the program not your child.

NOTE:

If a program shows as “Full,” don’t worry — spots sometimes open up! We’d love to help. Please connect with a coach or email info@niagaraacademy.ca to ask about current availability.

PROGRESSIVE PROGRAMS

TINY TOTS

Ages: 4-5

  • 5 weeks (May 13 – June 10): Wednesdays 4:10 pm to 5:00 pm ($120 +Hst)
  • 4 weeks (May 9 – May 30): Saturdays 9:10 am to 10:00 am ($96 +Hst)

The program is designed for players with little or no tennis experience.

RED BALL

Ages: 6-8

  • 5 weeks (May 13 – June 10): Wednesdays 4:10 pm to 5:00 pm ($120 +Hst)
  • 4 weeks (May 9 – May 30): Saturdays 9:10 am to 10:00 am ($96 +Hst)

The program is designed for a wide range of levels from beginners to intermediate players. 

ORANGE BALL

Ages: 9-10

  • 5 weeks (May 13 – June 10): Wednesdays 4:10 pm to 5:00 pm ($120 +Hst)
  • 4 weeks (May 9 – May 30): Saturdays 9:10 am to 10:00 am ($96 +Hst)

The program is designed for a wide range of levels from beginners to intermediate players.

GREEN BALL

Ages: 11-13

  • 5 weeks (May 13 – June 10): Wednesdays 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm ($140 +Hst)
  • 4 weeks (May 9 – May 30): Saturdays 10:00 am to 11:00 am ($112 +Hst)

The program is designed for a wide range of levels from beginners to intermediate players.

TEEN TENNIS

Ages: 14-18

  • 4 weeks (May 9 – May 30): Saturdays 11:00 am to 12:00 pm ($112  +Hst)

The program is designed for a wide range of levels from beginners to intermediates.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS

RED/ORANGE BALL ADVANCED

Ages: 6-10

  • 4 weeks (May 5 – May 26): Tuesdays 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm – 1.25 hr ($140 +Hst)
  • 4 weeks (May 7 – May 28): Thursdays 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm – 1.25 hr ($140 +Hst)

The program is designed for players who have the ability to rally and serve from 1/2 and 3/4 court, as well as for players looking to compete in U9 OTA events.

Registration by invitation or head coach approval. 

COMPETITIVE GREEN BALL

Ages: 10-11

  • 4 weeks (May 5 – May 26): Tuesdays 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm – 1.25 hr ($140 +Hst)
  • 4 weeks (May 7 – May 28): Thursdays 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm – 1.25 hr ($140 +Hst)

The program is designed for players who have the ability to serve and rally in full court and are already competing in U9-U10 OTA events. 

Registration by invitation or head coach approval. 

    COMPETITIVE REGULAR BALL

    Ages: For 12-14 or for younger players, being able to handle a regular ball pace

    • 4 weeks (May 4 – May 25): Mondays 6:00 – 7:30pm – 1.5 hr ($192 +Hst)
    • 4 weeks (May 5 – May 26): Tuesdays 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm – 1.25 hr ($140 +Hst)
    • 5 weeks (May 13 – June 10): Wednesdays 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm – 1.5hr ($240 +Hst)
    • 4 weeks (May 7 – May 28): Thursdays 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm – 1.25 hr ($140 +Hst)

    The program is designed for players with at least 2 years of playing experience, who are already competing or looking to compete at local and regional OTA tournaments such as One Star (rookie) and transition tournaments (Two Star events). 

    The key components:

    • Skill development and Skill refining 
    • Match play and tactical strategy 
    • On court tennis specific footwork

    HIGH PERFORMANCE

    HIGH PERFORMANCE (U15)

    • 4 weeks (May 4 – May 25): Mondays 7:30-9:00pm – 1.5 hr ($192 +Hst)
    • 4 weeks (May 5 – May 26): Tuesdays 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm ($192 +Hst)
    • 5 weeks (May 13 – June 10): Wednesdays 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm ($240 +Hst)
    • 4 weeks (May 7 – May 28): Thursdays 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm ($192 +Hst)

    This program is designed for players with a high level of concentration and self motivation. The aim for this program is to prepare players to become the best they can be, as well as help them prepare to play at provincial and national levels.

    Key components:

    • Refining and developing new skills to be able to enhance shot execution.
    • Tactical strategies(learning to adapt to different match scenarios while still playing with an identity)
    • Tennis specific footwork drills, for an optimal on court movement performance.
    • Vigorous on court physical conditioning to help players with their physical and mental endurance while building a competitive resilience.‬
